Wasn't someone in the Sandbox lamenting he/she couldn't find Ariel detergent any longer?

FleaBay as always comes through:

Seller has two auctions up for this product, check his/her listing for the other.

Personally Ariel laundry detergent suds way to much in my Miele, and the scent gave me a headache. Even locked in bin liner the scent still came through, ended up chucking the stuff out.

Yes, that was me. Thanks for the link, but no more eBay for me after that last ruckus. I did find 'domestic' Ariel at the local Dollar General, in 15-load-size boxes or some such odd size. They have/had a small supply of it, I picked up a couple. This was the first I've been in that store in a LONG while, so I don't know if they carry it as a matter of normal course, or it was a special-purchase deal. The 'Mexican' version appears to be available at www.mexgrocer.com, so I have that option at well.

I don't get much sudsing with Ariel unless I overdose with it -- like 6 scoops (a small drink-mix type scoop is what I use) on an extra small load. I've either gotten accustomed to it, or I have a bad 'smeller' as I don't find the scent to be particularly overpowering.

Dadoes,

Glad you found Ariel in your area and you are most welcome for the link.

Your water must be harder than ours, as barely 2 tablespoons of Ariel caused much sudsing, and was very hard to rinse out, especially with towels.

Dollar stores and stores in areas with large Hispanic areas seem to be the primary sources for Ariel. Kmart in our area used to sell it, along with Roma, Focca and Zote, but haven't been there lately to check.
