When Tim(macboy91si) came to get the Apple machines, He mentioned that he had an Ariston washer/dryer combo unit. Since he was willing to sell it to me, I had to jump on it. So my parents ask, was driving 124 miles worth getting this machine? UMMM... Yes, it sure was!!!!! I'll explain why...

Antonio Merloni?

if that ariston is an antonio merloni machine,it is probably
a lot like a splendide combomatic-common for use in RVs,buses,
campers,boats and other vehicles.

Yeah, I too disagreee!
You might see more discarded Indesit/Hotpoint/Ariston/Servis/Ardo/etc machines because both firms combined comprise 1/4 of all the white appliances market in Europe!
But you have to consider that those start from budget to TOL machines also the quality of the wash programs is far above average!
Have you seen many Indesit Moon or Ariston/Hotpoint Extendia or Aqualtis trashed?
You get what you pay for!
And in this case I believe you get more quality than similar priced Asian made machines like Haier or others

I was only commenting on the Aristons, not on the Hotpoint-Aristons as they are marketed here wich actually means that they are sold as Hotpoints. It seems that Ariston machines are not longer sold in the Netherlands. The Hotpoint-Ariston seem of better quality although there were noise issues with some series.

Due to the time I got home, I only had time to make room in the shed to store it, before I ran out of day light. Today, we will see what it is made of, so lets DO IT!

Aww, bless!

That looks so cute and tiny next to that great big US machine in the garage! I had a machine very similar to that in a rental property years ago. Very water efficient and a real workhorse.
