Well....
.....seems that avoiding chlorine bleach is what you MUST do if you want the spider to last.
As for load....fill 'er right to the top if you just want a wash and half way up the door if you want to do wash-dry in one cycle...
Now, as for the plastic doors...Just because it is plastic, doesn't make it bad/poor quality...the outer plastic piece in the inside of the 'dish' part of the door is to stop children and stupid adults from scalding themselves on the door-glass when the machine is drying - it gets VERY HOT...
As for detergent quantity...I would suggest using 1/2 the amount you would use in a Neptune which here is rated at 8 or 10kg....make sure it is the lowest sudsing, best quality powdered detergent you can find and AVOID chlorine bleach!!!
