Aristonised Hotpoints / Hotpointed Aristons !!??

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

So I dug a little deeper....

went to the attached link and downloaded the brochure

'Lavabiancheria' from the 'Catalogo Libera Installazione' catagory and everything appears there.

We have Aqualtis and Extendia + a multitude of machines of the same style as that ONE machine introduced to the UK recently.

Has anyone heard any news recently as, other than that one particular model, no others appear to have been introduced yet.

Are these what we have to look forward to?
I just cannot stand the shoddy styling treatment of the entire facia panel, especially the powder drawer and access handle!

In the UK

Hey Paul

According to our Hotpoint rep only the Aqualtis and the 1st edition are gonna be Ariston machines over here......

And the new 7kg "Indesits" are in fact UK assembled Hotpoints!

Hi Seamus

Cheers for the reply.

If that is the case then a small sigh of relief can be emitted. How on earth can such a clumsy looking series of machines get of the drawing board in this day and age?

I have to say though that, if it had a styled Hotpoint powder drawer, the push button/visual display model, in the first picture, could look quite snazzy (have never been a fan of the current top of the range Hotpoints - washers and condensers - with all the buttons arranged in the shape of a dial).

Cheers

Ariston

I would like to see these in America. R they good machines and do they have a reliable track record. Seems over here they r mostly mail order no showroom for me to check out.

I've got an Ariston set..

that's about a year and a half old. When the washer was first delivered the circut boards didn't operate the washer properly. The department store I bought it from replaced the whole washer.

I am very happy with the set. You get a lot of features (including an internal water heater) at a great price ($599 Canadian). The dryer is nothing special, gets the job done. I wish there was a way to defeat the crease gaurd tumbling that happens after everything is dry.

I'm so happy with the set, I'm hoping to replace my dishwasher with an Ariston.

Seamus! :-)

Seamus, stop confusing me! ;-) My head hurts! ;-)

I do not know what anything is Indesit-related now! hehe :-)

Regards,

Carl :-)
