For those of you in the Chicago area there is a lecture tonight sponsored by the Chicago Art Deco Society all about vintage appliances. I gather it will focus specifically on those produced and/or designed in the Chicago area.

Should have posted this sooner if there is anybody interested here.

Davey,

Enjoy it! I won't make it there in four hours.
I can guess some of the items though. International Harvester cream separators, refrigerators by Coldspot, Kelvinator, and Crosley, Servel.
Okeefe& Merrit stoves, Magic Chef.

I'm leaving shortly - it's just minutes away. Though isn't OkM an LA brand (which I have)? This is focusing on designed and manufactured in Chicago. Will update after.

Hotpoint was based in Chicago (5600 W. Taylor St.) for many years, so would expect to hear about those.

Crosley was a brand made in Cincinnati in their Arlington St. plant. Coldspot at that time would have been made by Seeger Refrigeration in Evansville, IN, in the factory used by Whirlpool until just a few years ago.
