Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

yes

persil has recently appeared in local stores -I bought part of a damaged shipment of persil powder and liquid-especially like the powder-it's more little beads instead of powder and in this form flushes out of a FL washer dispenser much better than typical powders that often leave some clumps behind.Seems to be effective too.I have also used the liquid persil in my vintage top loads.Jug says something like "foreign material packaged in USA".

Said at the time Persil from "Dial" was never going

Walmart exclusive product. What would be the point of that? I mean MieleUSA had a near lock on Henkel/Germany laundry products for some time and look at where that got them, a very small market share.

Persil Proclean must be in as many North American stores as possible if Henkel/Dial is to have a prayer at dethroning P&G's Tide.

Wasn't Henkel/Miele/US Persil priced in the stratosphere? *I* might have paid that premium. Some did. But 'some' is not much of a business model in the age of walmart.

So now Persil is at walmart, kroger, walgreens. Or is it?

Thus the problem. Is it real Persil including the scent? Or does it smell like flowers or worse-- like some dryer sheets-- bubble gum? And work like everything else walmart sells (halfass)?

re; Persil

I get it on sale at Meijer for about $7 for the small bottle. I love the mild scent. A little goes a long way.

It actually just launched in Canada last week. They don't have the Sensitive or Pacs available, but do have a Canada-only Coldwater version.

Canadian Cold Water Version

What is it with good detergents for cold water washing only being found up north.

P&G did the same with their Tide CW "free and clear/gentle". One cannot find the stuff for love nor money in NYC but apparently it is easily sourced in Canada. Even the bottles are printed in French and English.

One knows it is cold up there most of the year, but still.....
