Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support AutomaticWasher.org:

Eric is right, Black is nice, but choose one with a stainless steel top, cleans up super nice and doesn't show marks or dust....

as for the bathroom, change the toilet and sink to black also, and you have a world of choices to accessorize for any look....black and white with a hint of red...a variety of grays...even earth tones and tans.....

My Aunt has a bathroom built in the 70's...Pink and Black...sounds HIDEOUS...but she changes the look with each season, and you would be suprized the impact.....I love Fall season--the added color of leaves and fall colors, and blended colors of towels...like out of a magazine

get ideas from books at an actual Plumbing supply place that sells tubs, toilets and sinks......not Lowes or Home Depot

you have a designer bathroom in the making, and just don't know it yet!

Congrats on the new home!.....new curtains can be expensive, I have a lot of windows in mine too....I used printed sheets, and made accessories to match....a million ideas...enjoy!

Small Appliance Want List

HG electric can opener, don't care what brand it is. This is probably asking too much, but I've always wanted an Oster all-in-one kitchen center in either HG or Almond, and a set of HG Club Aluminum pans. Seen these on eBay but they always go for more than what I can afford

HG electric or hand ice crusher. When I cooking/Cleaning in the kitchen I like to listen to the radio, a vintage radio to set on top of the fridge would be nice.

I gotten a few new vintage appliances, but they are packed and once we get the kitchen setup, I will take picture and post them. I would like to have my HG Maytags in the laundry room that's off the kitchen, but I can't seem to get the dryer to work so for now the Frigidaire front loaders will go in there IF they will fit. The room is 57" in length, and the Frigidaire set measure 54". I'm getting a vintage Hoover stick vacuum on Friday Mike (dishwashercrazy) knows which one it it.

Thanks Tim, Patsy is my all time favorite country singer, this is the last picture to be taken of her, during the benefit concert in Kansas City and my favorite, she looks so glamorous in it.

I have made curtains out of sheets and even towels. The curtains for the the main bathroom will be made out towels, my roommates Mother's idea.

This will be the last week in the old house, I hate the idea of it being torn down, but the landlord has neglected it for far to long. I wish we were in the new house right now it has central air, it 94 degrees today!

Kirby with a Bowl

The Oster Kitchen Center makes me mindful of a Kirby and all the permutations it's attachment list creates. My favorites are the dog polisher and the turtle neck roller.

Very nice house! Kind of a shame that it has had some modern upgrades in the last 25 or so years. Would been great if the last updates were in the 50's/60's. Still, as you say, the house has a lot of character to it!

We will be there this weekend since we have to be out of this house by 6/1. Renting a U-Haul on Friday for all the big stuff. While I'm there I will get more pictures, but it maybe a few days before I get them posted. Arrangements have been made to transfer lights and gas, but not for phone and internet.

Can't wait to get there! But I will miss being able to walk across the road and getting to work in a couple of minutes.
