At Last Some Portable Vintage Treasures!!

Well, finally at long long last I found a vintage twin tub locally! A Maytag A50 in white, for only 30 dollars at a local used furniture store! It needed a new belt, and after a little searching on here, I ordered the tube belting that connects with metal barbs, and it runs like a dream. iT may not be able to spin rinse like mom's old Hoover, but it sure is nice to watch it humming away in the kitchen. And the dual impellers really do seem to make for less tangles.

As a bonus, I found a vintage Lady Kenmore portable 110 volt dryer in white at another store today, for only 50 dollars! It runs perfectly, only needed caster, as the old ones were missing. I happened to have a set which fit, so I am now ready to roll, portable style!

IIRC I had to fix the belt and the dirverter valve as it had the same problem as the 308s had
