While viewing the video on YouTube, click in the field toward the right that's labeled EMBED. That should highlight the code in the field, and also drop down drop a choice of options that YouTube provides for adjusting how the embedded object appears. If you adjust the options, be sure to click the field again to insure it's highlighted. With the Embed field highlighted, right-click on it and select COPY. That places the code into the Windows Clipboard on your computer.
Go to the AutomaticWasher board, start your composition. In the BODY of the composition at the position you want the clip to appear (NOT IN THE URL TO SHARE FIELD), press Ctrl-V on your keyboard, or right-click and select paste. That puts the copied code into your post.
Now, this part is important -- check through the pasted YouTube code and carefully delete all the quotation marks. Don't erase any of the angle brackets or blank spaces, just the quote marks.
Click the Update&Preview button. If the video does not appear properly in the post preview, then you haven't done it right. Erase the code, repaste it, delete the quote marks and try again until the clip appears properly. Commit the post when the clip appears correctly in the preview.
