Starting a business with my friend like this "www.britsuperstore.com" but would like too sale products available here and ship them to Europe. My question is what products here in American would people in Europe like or want?

Thanks Chris

crabs, if you had a really good time.

My relatives from Europe like American style stove-top percolators, and ground coffee. They tire of their Turkish coffee constantly.

Percale (no iron, part-poly) sheets. Their double bed is roughly our Queens size.
Junk food. Cookies, candies.
DVD-s Movies appropriately subtitled or dubbed.
Levi's jeans in the old days.

I think there are more American products sold overhere in Europe than the other way around. Levi's? We have them as long as I can remember. Ofcourse there are a lot typical American products that are not available here, but I don't think there is much that I would purchase from such a website. Perhaps you should focus on Americans living in Europe.

Please please please

I would love this website

So that I could order me some .....

Regular Scented Tide Powder
Downy April Fresh
Nestle FRUIT LOOPS

as often as I wanted....
I'm sure there is more stuff I'd order though when browsing what's available.

God, I love Fruit Loops.

Nick

Great Idea....

I did start a thread earlier asking if there was a site to order american products and get them shipped to the UK but no one replied.

I Think It's an awesome idea, i would really love to be able to order some american products :-D

Good Luck, if you go ahead with the idea

Take Care

My Greek relatives bought a German washer that was shipped here, then shipped back to Europe somehow avoiding the VAT (value-added tax). That plus a good exchange-rate with the drachma (before the Euro) made it a bargain for them.

Perhaps it was run here a few times (with a transformer or motor-generator)and shipped out as "used"

I'd like to have the opportunity to buy American TL-washers and waste-aways as well as probably some good washing-powders...??
May-be I will find more things when we will be in Fort Lauderdale end of October for a Barbra Streisand concert...?
I will keep my eyes open!
Is there anybody of you arround there to visit and watch his/her collection of machines?
Ralf

If I visit in 2008.....

I will bring home..

Centenary Hoover (assuming there will be one)

As many Convertibles as I can fit in my luggage lol

I would have to guess---

I am just guessing, being that I have not made my first trip to Europe, that is comming soon.Do they sell Hershey's kisses? Oxy clean? Bounce, the original sent? Pin-Sol in the big Cosco sized containers? Adams Peanut butter? Crunchy and regular-Mr Pibb-20 mule team borax! Very american. I have my choice teas that i love! IHazel nut coffee from stumptown and maybe something from starbucks.Maybe ( and granted, this would be a dream for me if I did not have it at my finger tips and living in Europe) Popeys Chicken and maybe Boston Market. Some of my favorate things and a little extra.i love stuff from home. OH!!! and maybe the cute guy that flirts with me at New Seasons.--Steve--his pic on the website- OH Gush!!!!I Love New Seasons!!!

They have Oxi-Clean, but they call it Vanish.

They do have Bounce, but it's not as commonly used, because people tend to line-dry a bit more than here.

I never saw Hershey's Kisses.

We have oxi-clean too

and oxi clean `baby' with no scent etc - just the chemical. I like that. We have Bounce but the scent is different. Our versio of your `classic outdoor' or whatever the normal one is called is `summer fresh' I think. Slightly different packaging, slightly different scent. We have Downy but it's called `Lenor' and the scent line up is different. I love Downy April Fresh!
