Aussie guys: Is this washer a classic?

Its the last of the locking lid, no brake Westy's.
These machines ran until the mid 80's I think.
After that, all Westinghouse, Kelvinator, and Hoover machines were all becomming clones of the Simpson as all 4 brandnames were owned by Email Ltd. Now they're all pretty much identical except Kelvinator doesnt exist as a Brand anymore, and the Hoover machines are now BOL.

Just as Nathan has said: it's a classic. I salvaged the model prior to this one: see attached.

As the guys above have stated that model is a classic Westy,my mother actually had one of the previous models which basically had a blue control panel instead of the brown one this one has.
If you check out Leon's picture,you will seewhat I mean.
Nathan is quite correct also this was the last of the Westy brand on it's own and now they are all just Simpson clones,rather sad really no more real competition other than the foreign brands.
