Shoe Dryer en Yahoo! Video</div>

Interesting innovation. Although, I think I would have used a spring loaded rod to hold each shoe at opposite positions in the drum.

Not a bad idea, but I simply place my shoes outside in the sun during the summer months or place them upside down over the heater vent during the winter months.

Our Whirlpool electric dryer came with a drying rack. Used it a time or two. Put a pair of tennis shoes on it that were wet, an hour later there was no noticable improvement in the dryness of the shoes. Karen tried a few sweaters on it. Same result.

So that was that. I don't even know where the darned thing is now.

I do the same as Dan. I had a dryer rack for either my 2nd whirlpool dryer or my Kenmore dryer, took forever to dry shoes.

Spring Rod

I would use the spring loaded rod to hold the shoes in position in my FL washer. I don't like the idea of shoes bouncing around in my washing machine.
