The washer looks pretty decent underneath, Darren. As long as there is not a lot black, oily deposits that were flung on the cabinet, you're in good shape!

Gordon sorry my dad is not doing well has been taking up so much of my time,
so i have not been able to get to them yet put that should change in a few week's
ahead.
I am excited to get them going i can't believe we are the two that has this machine...

Congratulations, Darren! I just picked up a 70 Series washer and 80 Series gas dryer in avocado last week. The washer is standard capacity with Super Roto-Swirl, just three water levels, and no pre-soak cycle--very similiar in appearance.
As a side note, if you need avocado touch-up paint, Whirlpool still makes it. It is available through Sears (Part #72109). Your machines look to be in good working order and I hope you get lots of enjoyment from them

Oh, by the way, and on topic. I had the top only (top and control panel complete) to the washer you have here. I found it at a St Vincents processing center in Waukegan ILL. in 2003, during my big appliance collecting days. (I had like 73 major appliances back then). It was just sitting with a pile of scrap metal. ? Like, they were going to throw it out or something? What were they thinking? Did they not figure that there would be a gay man on a mission, just waiting to buy such an item. But I got it for free. (hee hee)
