Is the first button intended as "Part(ial) Cycle?"  Or is it literally "Part Cycle" ... as automobile parts, farm machinery parts, etc. .... a really new Concept!

Why would a button be needed to differentiate a Partial Cycle?  The timer can be turned to any desired starting position, no buttons for Heavy vs. Normal or Rinse'n Dry or Plate Warm.

Sani Cycle? but looks more like Part.

about 1968 I'd say.  Wonder if D&M had the tilty door latch as an option for the OEM manufacturer to choose.  Would be kind of fun to see the "catalogue" of options for the product manager at Kelvinsonchef to choose from.

"Part Cycle" likely ='s Rinse and Hold.

Magic Chef likely was so miserly they didn't want to spend money on attempting to make full word "partial" fit in terms of type layout. So.....

Yes, I agree about the "Part Cycle" or "Partial Cycle" being a "Rinse and Hold", if it doesn't automatically shorten the cycle or speed up the timer dial...

Rinse Hold vs. Rinse'n Dry has a difference of no drying.  It'd be more logical for that purpose to label the button Rinse Hold, Heat Off, No Dry, or some such.

Hold  Cycle

fits the space as nicely as

Part   Full
Cycle Cycle


No     Full
Dry   Cycle

also fits, and fewer characters.
