Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

I don't think it's DL. I think the fact that AW.org has any discussion forum that's the problem. I noted the library filtered access a few years ago seemed to block any discussion forums. No idea why, but I speculated it was to prevent 13 year olds from "meeting" people online who claim to be 13, too, but are really a 55 year old ax murderer.

Oh, it's possible that someone at the school is a paid member and accessed Dirty Laundry through the school network, and since it's possible for many IT departments to monitor and display any and all web pages accessed by computers on the network, they they might have caught one of the adult threads in DL and blown a gasket.

Either that, or the school administration is run by Luddites who feel threatened by anything automatic.

Something is going on here as well

For about a week or so now much content is "filtered" via the OS (Microsoft) or something. Have to "OK" to show said certain content which often includes all pictures, adverts and various other content. Also can no longer see or toggle though pictures unless logged into the site.

Regarding discussion boards and blocking, IMB announced earlier this week they are dropping (getting rid of) their comments/discussion forum.

"chrome"

I only use it for sites I have difficulty with my browser stalling.
I don't like it for photo waterfall viewing, like when I research places. A row of photos shows up as a search result, then clicking one opens more.
I'm not running windows ten. I have 7 premium on an older duo core second gen.
It seems I get more error or security messages after updates from Microsoft are installed.
Running a disk optimization and clean up usually helps. My virus protection is up to date, and if you use a free one, well you know what we say about things that claim they are free. I've heard things about that fix me stick also. You don't want anyone else being able to control your machine. Also keep your settings so browsing history is all deleted when you close your browswer. I delete everything except media licenses. With chrome I do it manually, because for some reason, it highlights the site heading when I go back there the next day, so it isn't deleting history that I visited that site. I keep security settings at Maximum.
I also do not have any important personal, financial, or other detrimental info. on an e-mail account. I don't use this machine for banking, or bill paying.
I'm not a web master, so I don't know what they do to stay up to date. I'm sure it's a continual process. I don't like to bother hubby much with it, he's quite busy with more important matters at a corporate level. We share an office space in our home, so any major problems that may arise, I do ask for help.

I believe the not-logged in picture scrolling issue and chrome warnings are related to a mixing http elements on https pages. I need to make sure the pages (with the exception of the login page) only load http. I use chrome as my main browser and have no messages or warnings pop up of course, I'm only the person who needs to see it the most lol. Murphy's law I guess.

I'll try and work on that today.

Okay I think I fixed the issue with the warning messages in chrome and the picture scrolling. Please let me know if my change didn't work. You may have to restart your browser.
