AW guessing game!

Last winter my wife and I moved from Waterloo to Cedar Falls (sister cities, so only a few miles away). When we landed I had appliance parts scattered across the basement and garage with aspirations of getting everything to the attic in the summer.

Well, with the unseasonably cool fall like weather that has hit the Midwest it was time to consolidate and get the majority of parts in the two attic storage closets.

I shot this picture mid move today from the garage to the attic. While the agitators should be easy, can anyone guess the years and transmission variety of each of these Frigidaire cross members?

The prize is AW fame and glory. Don’t spend it all at once!

I'll take a stab at it!

I think they're ranked in age.  From left to right is:

 

1. 65-69 Rollermatic

2. 59-64 Multi-Matic

3&4 appear the same to me from the photograph and I'm going to guess they are from the 50-58 Unimatic Line.  I know I took one like that off a WO-65.  3 however appears slightly different in the hole for snubber spring so it could be Pulsamatic.

5.  Is a toss up in my mind, I'll say either it's from a Pulsamatic or the first 47-50 Unimatic Line.

Joe - you got numbers 1, 2, 4, and 5 correct! The first should be a dead giveaway - no oily mess! LOL

You are so close on number 3! Here's a clue - number three was the first year for two transmissions to be dropped, and a new one to be introduced.

I was surprised that the 5th one was just slightly different than a WO-65 and later cross member. Those early flat top Unimatics went through quite a few changes before the WO-65 came along.

Ben, the clue slightly confuses me but would it be the 1st Generation of MultiMatic?

Joe - you're correct! It is from a 1959/1960 Multimatic, which in '61 the cross member was revised for the '61-'64 cabinets.

I'm having coffee with Ghirardeli chocolate just now. We had a taste of friendly San Francisco service last week. Well, it felt like we were there at least.
We went to Fogo Di Chaoi Brazilian churassco for our anniversary. Excellent food, and service. They even wrote happy anniversary on our desert plates with raspberry coule'.
