Help Support :

Imet my wife through mutual friends of hers and mine. Funny thing is she graduated from the same high school as me just a year later. She lived within 5 miles of me when I lived in Miami. She lived less than 10 miles from me in in LA. I used to drive by her apartment building every morning and evening. We never met. I moved back to NH and so did she after a very brief marriage 3 months. I went to my friends house to pick up a little smoke and she showed up with his wife to do the same. Well we got what we came for and the other 2 took off and went into the shower. So there we sat and smoked a fattie, I new that day that was the one I was going to marry. She went home that night and told her mother I met the guy I am going to marry and spend the rest of my life with. I can't believe we just had our 21 anniversary and have been together 24 years total. She is my best friend, business partner, and lover. I wish everyone could have the relationship love patience understanding and commitment that we have with each other. Sometimes you never know when love will come knocking at your door. Just remember to keep the door open and be yourself.

several years ago when I was completing my under graduate degree, during one of my courses I had to write a novel. I wrote a novel about my life (yes the novel includes the first time I laid eyes on my mom's washing machine, in fact I never left anything out when I was coming out and dating). I was going to get it published and decided to hold back I(costs and it was very personal) - all I ended up doing was to get it copywrite protected. Believe me, my editor was smoking ;)

Nah, sometimes I was the guy selling the trinkets and perfumes for Gerrard who I now here has long passed away. I've lost touch with everyone from there old mother Neil on the door and Gary behind the bar etc. That was a lifetime ago :(

I have Loved and Lost, but not given up hope

I am currently going to massage school, which takes up alot of my time besides my job and my little side business. Just like in the past, he will come out of the woodwork when I am not looking...................I am totally a relationship kind of guy, and I will do his laundry and cook for him, what more could a guy ask for?

Someone recently said to me, "not only would like to end up in his pants, but wash and dry them too". I've even said to the individual my friend was referring to, I'll do your laundry anytime you'd rather not do it yourself.

Bobbins~

Hey Bob..

Good Lord, whatcha trying to do, give us all a hard on? LoL! Actually, your story about meeting your other half was really sweet.
I hope one day to marry my love legally here in the states. One can continue to hope right?

Best of luck to you both.

I met mine at work, and he was in the office next to mine and he annoyed me, overhearing him. He had a voice that carried, and so did mine.
After a few weeks, he was moved to a different office and I was sent there as head assistant to the merchandise manager.
It was then that we got to know each other. He taught me how to rollerskate on Venice Beach and I taught him how to golf in Malibu. We went through about 2 months of denying we were physically attracted and setteled on emothionally attracted, until we saw a movie that made us talk about sex, I think it was Querelle, with that actor who was in Midnight Express.
There was something sad and hot about that movie and that is when we got together, sexually. I got used to sleeping over at his place and loved the smell of his breath next to me on the same pillow, among other things, but this is the thing I remember most, smell is the closest sence to memory.
I think that when you are in love, you live in a bubble, a really soft place where you get to choose what comes in your emerging perfect world as love begins to shield you like a bright sunshine umbrella of hope and future.

He is gone. Life is like a nuclear winter, even when the sun shines.

Sears

What, didn't anyone else get theirs at Sears like I did? I mean, geez, it seemed like the most logical course of action.

I used to get boyfriends and such in the clearance area, but after a few unsatisfactory scratch-'n-dents, I went whole-hog and got this one on my Sears card. Full maintenance contract, of course, and believe me, that tool replacement policy comes in handy sometimes.

Granted, it was totally uncomfortable when his centerpost started rusting, but I like the really fast agitation, and believe me, the spin is adequate. I don't know if everything's ready to iron when the cycle's done, but I'm sure ready for a cigarette.

In the pic, the "us" of "us" is on the far left (Rick), the second-from-the-left (Matt), and on the far right (me, Nate). Apologies for the cameltoe I've got going on; I've since bought shorts that actually fit :-)

And, you may ask...why three? Well, because I'm a whore. A velveteen-clad, cheap, mascara-caked, insatiable whore.

A big one.

;-)

Jeezus Mary and Joseph.

CAMELTOE?

Lawd have mussy. I know you like to do laundry but is it necessary to carry a roll of quarters in your right pocket?

(Tip-toes quietly to door while laughing inside............)

Don't laugh... three-way "marriages" were "BIG" in NYC some years ago. Oh honey, please; one spouse is plenty of aggravation, but two?

I met my wife.....

I met my wife Cynthia at a friends house over the Christmas Holidays about 17 or 18 years ago. A house, kids and a couple of dogs later and we're still together and strong.

There is nothing like a good marriage (or relationship however the case may be), and nothing worse than a bad one.

Jon retro-man

You don't know how many stories I have learned that are just like yours! Currently even my Dad who is now remarried after Moms' passing married a woman who is in his College Graduation photo and he did not know her at the time! But he knew the man she first married and he was also in the same class and even he did not know his future wife then but they all are in the same photo taken at graduation. And they all met years after on the other side of the continent.

How many times do you think we orbit around each other totally oblivious before we meet?

I think my partner went down on the Titanic. Oh well next time.

On 2 Feb. 1986, John and I were invited to a Tupperware party in the South End, Boston. We had first met a few years prior via mutual friends, but we both thought each other were "unapproachable." Well ... These guys were really, REALLY into their Tupperware much more than John and I were. The Tupperware lady had a bunch of toys (didn't know until then that Tupperware had a toy line until then). Before I knew it, John and I were on the floor playing with the toys after all the other guys were ooing and aahing over the bowls, cooking stuff, etc. The rest is history!

We married ourselves on 13 Sept. 1986 in the Blue Room of the White House as we couldn't find anyone that would do a commitment ceremony.

On 2 Oct. 2004, we officially got married in a Unitarian Universalist church where he eventually became the minister.

Rob.
