I was wondering what the last range was made with a surface light. I suppose I could also ask what was the last washer/dryer set with one also.

I would guess the last range was the GE Profile.

Kenmore.....only TOL models had them...

last range I got with a full hood light was 1998

the Limited Electronic series direct drive machines were the last to have full fluorescent lights....

But I think a range without a light is the cheapest looking thing ever made, No way would I pay thousands of dollars for a stove without a light or outlet on it.
