Hello, fellow old-laundry-equipment affectionados!
I have a Miele T380 dryer from the late 1980's. The timer is getting stuck so that it never shuts off. I tried calling Miele but they said these timers are no longer available. Does anyone know where I might find one?
Has anyone disassembled and repaired such a timer? Any idea what might be causing it to get stuck? I tried spraying silicone lube into it but it doesn't help. What is supposed to happen is that after the sensor detects the laundry is dry, the timer should advance quickly to the cool down position. But it only makes it about half way and stops. If I move it just a bit further by hand, it goes all the way to the cool down spot.
Any help much appreciated!
Best,
Robert
