Not high spinning

Ended up putting the original coupler back on. I'm not sure if this is causing an issue because the machine doesn't want to do a high spin, regardless of where its set at the timer.

Everything sounds good and I triple checked I put everything back correctly.

Edit: It only high spins when it slips into spin. Every spin setting on the timer on gives me a low spin.

Did you wait for it to complete the whole spin cycle? A lot of the KitchenAid washers started in slow spin and then automatically switched to high spin.

Waiting for high spin

Yes I did. It’s not getting up to high spin unless it slips in the spin from the neutral drain which now that I’ve replaced it never does. I will test more and post some videos demonstrating the issue.

I’m convinced it’s either a bad timer or a bad capacitor.

Clicking noise?

Did my first load of towels today and noticed a clicking noise with the agitation. I’ve heard this noise before other videos but I’m not sure if it’s normal?

Original transmission

Yes it is. I did replace the neutral pack and shaft seal. Perhaps the gears are going bad, I don't know. Here are some pictures of the gear case before I touched anything.

That clicking sounds like the suspension to me. I know you like to have your machines in good working order, Matthew, but you can’t let every extraneous noise get to you or else it’ll just drive you crazy. Usually if things work as intended, I leave them alone. As the saying goes: “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”.

When the cabinet isn’t fully on correctly, or it’s shifted slightly from spinning, it can make clicks with the strokes of agitation, sometimes it’s also the back panel as well. Mine has done it plenty of times after a super big load where the cabinet has slightly shifted out of wack, even though it’s locked into place. Mine most especially makes sounds from the back panel on low agitation, not all the time, but sometimes. So adjust the cabinet see if it goes away, and check the back panel to see if it’s a little out of wack or something. When machines are this old, the cabinet and back panel tend to be noisy at times from the vibrations.

I’m currently using the agitator cam that was the original white agitator as I misplaced the cam that came with my blue one. Perhaps that might be why I’m getting the noise. But I will also ensure the cabinet is on correctly

It's difficult to discern which noise is your concern.  The occasional clacking noise is from the auger/dogs.  A second viewing, there's a springy squeak in the background that may be your focus.  That, I don't know.
