Can anyone use this agitator ? I have this extra one.
Or wanna trade for one ? I don’t have the extra cap for it. But it’s in good shape. No cracks.
My sister found a wringer washer inside an old house. The washer was pretty dented and in bad shape but she took the agitator out of it for me. I would love to pass it along to someone who wants / needs it

You are correct, I do need a Bakelite Surgilator for my Whirlpool but currently have a Super Surgilator that I found on eBay for $20 which works well but seems to be a bit overkill for that tiny tub. I think this might be shorter in height since the Whirlpool and Kenmore wringers used similar agitators to their automatic counterparts since the wringers had shorter tubs from what I recall reading somewhere in the archives.

My 1963 RCA Whirlpool Imperial Mark XII is mostly rebuilt but will need new bearings along with a spin tube and have those parts on hand but sadly don’t have to tools to do the bearings replacement. Last time I had it apart, I packed the entire center post with grease and I don’t think that’s really is supposed to be done but ever since I did that, the bearings don’t appear to make as much noise for some reason.

You can have it. My friend Tyler has about 6 of those original Surgilators that came out of a appliance shop in his town of Reidsville. That agitator you have will work in the Whirlpool and Kenmore belt drive washers you have but if it’s the newer style of transmission you’ll need a nylon drive block for it since the Bakelite Surgilators never had the splines in them compared to the later Super Surgilator in 1967 and 1968.

Whirlpool Bakelite Agitator

The agitator you have in the picture looks like one for the automatic washers, the one for WP WWs is shorter at the top, if you post the part # molded on the bottom I can tell for sure, the two agitators are not interchangeable.
