Hey guys, I think I'm gonna have to replace the bearings on my whirlpool belt drive. it's started a little squealing during the wash and drain cycles. the machine has also squealed at the very beginning of spin but goes away as it ramps up speed. but now there is this other squeal. i was wondering if anyone out there has done a video doing a bearing replacement or at least photos of one being done. I appreciate any help you guys and give me.
thanks.

Noisey BD WP Washer

The noise you are describing is a bad clutch pulley bearing, not the main center post bearings. To repair you do have to tear it down and remove the transmission and basket drive assembly. The good news it is not as bad as replacing the center post bearings

so the squealing when it starts to spin but goes away when it picks up speed is the clutch pully? question which pully is the clutch pully? the one on the basket drive?
