Looks exactly like the one I bought in the mid 80's push buttons for the temperature control. I was a great machine.

That is the machine I grew up with. My parents bought the set after they had a green portable Kenmore. I hated those green monsters.

The only thing I didn't like about them is the cheap looking plastic door handles. The chrome handles from the 70's are much better looking.

Just the opposite for me.
That plastic handle insert was what attracted me to them in the first place when I was little. Did not care about the Kenmore BD or the older Whirlpool BD's, just these. But now, I still don't really care about the Kenmore BD's, but Just about all model Whirlpool BD's have a place somewhere in my heart.
