I'm curious why you think that you'd have to explain yourself or your profile on 411. Those oil rig studs surely aren't looking at Bear 411 to even care that you have a profile posted! Go ahead and re-post a PG rated profile..you don't need to tell, and if they ask, then they need to have their curiousity "satisfied"....those Playboy women aren't on that rig, and you are!

But in a majority male breeder atmosphere, I can certainly see the sense in flying below the radar...but they don't need to know about 411 or anything else!

I had a close call a few years ago after being on another website. You know as well as I do that the "bear community" is a lot smaller than it looks, and they ALL talk! Lucky for me, that was a long time ago. I've gotten older and fatter and don't resemble any of those bootleg photos of me that are still running around out there. It taught me to be careful, but there's also something nice about meeting guys who aren't "published" at all. It makes for a nice surprise, considering when the "published" guys show pics of everything. I know it's just my opinion.

I consider myself more of a cub but am no longer sure that's appropriate for a 6' 200# guy of 53. I'm partnered with a stocky and rounded bear who thinks he's no longer a commodity even though he gets other bear types hitting on him often enough. We don't have profiles posted anywhere although we don't fit the monogamous mold.

Although my company supposedly celebrates diversity I still don't think it would be prudent for me to have a profile with a picture posted on a site where aroused men can be viewed, much as I personally enjoy being associated with them. I sure have no problem with the men who feel comfortable enough to post profiles and know I'll join them at some point.
