On Long Island NY craigslist.."Ive never figiured out how to post CL or Ebay ads on our new computer or this laptop???" but look it up, it has the big H emblems like Hazels wall ovens had on TV..I would so grab it, 60.00!!! But I don't know when I could ever get up there to get it,seems all I do is WORK!!LOL for some reason old Hardwick, Brown or Dixie stoves are rare in the South...Funny since they were made in Tennessee!!They have it listed as a 49 but its a early 60s model.

If someone here

Could get it for me,I know I could get up that way in a month or so, I have to come to Maryland soon anyway to bring a couple of stoves to Jeff in Upper Marlboro.I know its asking a lot, but I sure would be glad to pay whoever for their time and trouble..Hans

Re The Cleveland Tennessee stove industry..

Cleveland Tennessee, as well as Chattanooga and Athens and even Knoxville and Nashville, Had a thriving stove industry in years past, Cleveland had Dixie, Brown and Hardwick, Chattanooga had Suburban,Modern Made and I think Enterprise, I believe Athens had Vesta, and a few more minor or as we say in the South.."Off  Brands" in the other cities, but of them all Hardwick was probably the best, Dixie became Magic Chef after Magic Chef went under, and Brown is the only family owned stove maker in the US, but what they make today is really very overpriced junk compared to what they made when GC Crover Cleveland Brown was president, then they made a great low to mid priced range, the funny thing about most of these was they specialized in gas ranges.....when very few people in the South USED a gas range!LOL
