Beef and Cheddar Rolls

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

What makes these B&C Rolls very nice is that you could easily prepare them early in the day and then pop them in the oven while your guests are busy emptying and refilling their cocktail glasses. I'll bet they smell good while baking too. I always enjoy Ralph's commentary in the videos, but I'm wondering if he couldn't benifit by using an inexpensive tripod. All that swerving and swaying forces me to hold on to my chair to keep from falling off. It's sort of like "Mr. Toad's Wild Ride" at Disneyland.

PS...the shirt and tie look very "PBS" professional

Just yesterday...

I made your "Bean and Ham Soup" for dinner... Lordy, was it stick to the ribs good!!

I gotta try these, we bought 1/2 a steer in March and they gave us 54 Lbs of ground beef!! So have been searching for intersting GB recipes to use it up and these ought to be awesome! And if you have any other good & different things to do with GB... please advise and thanks!

Oh I am certainly going to make these! One recipe that I use a lot from Kevin is the Michigan apple pie one. Love that recipe and quite a few others that he posted as well. For myself I don't mind watching the video and writing down what I need for the recipe, it also let's me see how he does it and the options given to change the recipe or technique. I certainly appreciate the postings.

OK... we're making these tonight!

and as suggested, might try gilding the lily with a bit of Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ on top!

Thinking baked Russets with sour cream & chives, and asparagus as the sides.
I'm getting hungry already!

Thanks all!

DADoES - I'll try to post the recipe in the thread so you don't have to watch the video...it's an extra step that I sometimes don't have time to do, but I will see if there is a way for me to build this in somehow.

Joe - Ha!! While Ralph has a pretty steady hand, he gets excitable around the food :-) He said he is going to try to concentrate!

Roger - with 54 pounds of ground beef, you are going to have all kinds of fun in the kitchen!! Hope these turned out well...and yes, the bbq sauce would be the Pièce de résistance!! Enjoy!

made 'em last night...

and enough for seconds tonight!! Yum, were they good! had to forgo the olives as we were all out, but it provides an excuse to try it again soon to see how they compare! I wonder how adding some ground pork as per usual with meatloaf might work.

Thanks for all of your contributions to culinary goodness Kevin... I've turned all of the family onto Calvalcade of Food!

I too made these for last night's dinner!!

And, they were great!!!
The fun of getting the recipe is watching the video.....!
It's no trouble to pause it long enough to write down a procedure or ingredient.
Thank you for putting these out there and making them available for us!!!

I like the video style too - homemade - just like the recipe....

I wouldn't change a thing!

Thanks again!

Rick
