Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Tom, it's the electrical system in the Canadian model that set it apart.  There is a complete fuse block to protect the surface units, oven, and broil elements in addition to the range outlet.  Unlike the US model, the fuse block in older Frigidaire ranges was under the oven, accessible if you took the storage drawer out.

I guess this was CSA requirement back in the day - but this requirement was eventually eliminated (in the 90s, I think).

Thanks for the info, Paul. I remember that Canadian ranges had the fuses for each element; actually seems like a good idea. The old Vulcan commercial range our church used to have had circuit breakers for the individual elements.

Was this range manufactured in Canada, or was it made in Dayton specifically to be sold in Canada?

Your addition is very nice!

Very nice!

Paul, that shop will server you very well! Now you will stay busy for sure!

And you are correct about projects expanding to fill any and all available space.... it will happen sooner or later! When I moved into my current place I never imagined I would fill up this shop like I have.
