belt on frigidaire washer

how can I tell if my 2015 front load washer needs a new belt??

well, first in making sure its a belt drive, and not direct drive...

but if the drum is turning, I would say the belt is OK....

for the most part, its only 2 years old....far chance for a belt to go bad this early in the game....

I have Frigidaire and Neptune FLers, still on the original belts....

when I think about it, I have a number of vintage TLers that have never needed a new belt...I have ventured into experimenting with different belts, but not because one broke...

Hi Larry, Why would you think it might need a new belt?

 

In the last 25 years [ of repairing appliances every day ] I don't think I have replaced a single belt on any modern FL washer.
