I came across this vintage advertisement and noticed it said the Westinghouse machine uses 10 gallons less water. As a Mojave desert dweller, It got me thinking. Were any of the classic era machines also designed with water efficiency in mind but still did a great job washing clothes thoroughly? I'm all for acquiring a machine that is less thirsty.
