Beverly Hillbillies Dishwasher Question

Those were side-by-side Thermadors. The cooktop with all of those surface units (what was it 6?) was a Thermador also. She used to keep one element on a setting pretty close to high to have fast heat and one or two others at different heat settings. It was easier to get away with in B&W than color. Julia probably would have loved induction. If she had had it in her studio, she probably could have switched most of the nation to induction cooking.

If my memory stands correct on the later episodes of The Beverly Hillbillies both the Maytag washer & dryer were pushbutton and yellow, there were 2 countertop stoves back to back on the island. It was a grill on the counter along the wall, also the refrigerators were moved from next to the laundry room entrance(replaced by shelves) to the back wall next to the dinette set.
