Well the advertised one might be a Flair but its not exactly the same as Samantha's - yes, I checked. This looks like a later version.

What were the production dates of the Flair please?

Ok, maybe I am OCD .....

I checked the last season 6 episode (apparently) and indeed the Flair IS identical to the one pictured in the ad so although the set remained basically the same the range and indeed the diswasher seem to have been updated. The fridge does not look obviously different and of course the Mixmaster model 12 is in its usual place

The reason that the oven and refrigerator look so different in seasons 7 and 8 is because a fire broke out on the set shortly after season six ended in the spring of 1970, damaging the set so extensively that it had to be rebuilt.

I think the Bewitched kitchen got new appliances at least once.

That CI Spin tube

is the exact era of Frigidaire d/w I'm looking for to complete my miniscule d/w "collection"... arond a mid '60s model.

I think the Flairs were made about 1960-67?

Some Flairs were made later than that. I think the last 40" models were the 1968 "N" series which were probably made for a few years. I don't think there were specific 40" Flair ranges for the 1967 model year, they were probably 1966 "K" models which were still produced in 1967.

 

I think this range should be a RCI-645K with the "<span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times;">F R I G I D A I R E</span>" brand hidden by that bright rectangle on the control panel. (I can't explain that since they used all Frigidaire appliances).

I'm wondering what were the colors of the appliances on this set. The 1964 appliances seem to be green and those from 1967 seem to be a very light yellow. I know Frigidaire advertised a lot of different colors for 1966 but what about 1964?

Love The Second To Last Pic

Where Sam's kitchen window should be overlooking the back yard. Instead we have a view of a sidewalk/path and another house across in the distance.

Sam's house took more twists and turns, and often made no sense in terms of interiors.

For instance there was a back staircase in later episodes but it couldn't have gone anywhere because it would have come out either in the master bedroom or the nursery.

Stevens' appliance colors

I think both the '64 and '67 washer and dryer sets are Sunny Yellow; the apparent difference due to the lighting. Frigidaire didn't have any green that I know of in '64. In '66 they had "Tahitian Green" an Avocado like shade.

I've always wondered what the purpose was with the pseudo fireplace next to the stove. Perhaps merely decoration?

I always assumed that this was an indoor BBQ, and the hood was up above and you couldn't see it too good.

Here's the Maytag set in the two first episodes before they moved to their new house. (looks green too!).

1964 Flair. The cabinet seems to have been repainted as the lower part of the base cabinet is green instead of black.

I was watching Hazel on ME-TV the other day and saw a set of push-button Maytags in Coppertone.

I love watching ME-TV and seeing all those cool vintage appliances.
