Folks, I really need to share this with you.
Other night I went to the supermarket (By the way I was with John Belfry on the phone) and I bought a bottle of Biowash detergent.
Well... the product is expensive, and my first impression was.. "oh God, other local company trying to push their crap as a "luxury" product" OK I need to try this.
Arrived home and the first thing I did was try this new product in my affinity washer and my test load. (square pieces of white fabric, blah, blah, blal... and chocolate dressing)

Used it according to instructions (50 ml) normal cycle, COLD water, no other aditives and no extra rinse.

THE RESULT: Umbeliveable!! Amazing!! Fantastic!! ALL THE LOAD SPARKLING WHITE! It removed tomato sauce, chocolate, grape juice and dust!

The best of all?

This product is 100% ecologic, made with aloe vera and coconut. (both brazilian plants)

By the way... since a few months ago, this amazing detergent is also available in the USA branded as ECOpath.
The website is also available in English.

Whole Foods Market

The Whole Foods Market website lets you do a search on all their stores. There are quite a few of them in Georgia. I have been in the one in Middletown, NJ. Great store.

Oh yes

We have them all over Atlanta. It's a great place if you don't mind WAY OVER PAYING for organic produce and natural products.

Greg, I know what you mean about the prices. I was there about a year and half ago. I am glad it is now close. I am deadly in these type of stores. lol

Thomas, Thanks, I now see the English on your link. Had to put the glasses on. lol

BTW: Did the detergent leave a nice clean smell to the clothes? And were they soft?

Thanks

Ray

Ray...

The smell can be relative... some people love, some people hate...
I love the Tide's original scent. Some people hate it.
I like the way my clothes smell and they´re relatively soft. (I like to use lots of softener, but I didn´t use it when I did the test).

I also bought the powder version and the lavender softener, but I didn´t test them yet.

The lavender softener is very "liquid", so I´m sure it won´t leave residues in the dispenser. Probably I'll test it tonight, if I have time.
The powder detergent smells coconut. So good that it makes me want to eat it! I'll test it tonight too.

Thomas, Let me know how you make out. I also like powder detergents. (Tide Original also). I use liquids for dark clothes. I also use SA8 Bioquest, powder and liquid. This is really gerat stuff also. And.....Shaklee products, their powder form call Fresh. It is a really nice clean scent, sort of like "boilded" laundry. A little like Fels Naptha from years ago, but not as strong. The products are also ECO-friendly and do a great job. SA8 was rated a year ago number one by Consumer Reports.

Thomas, Actually in the states it is not that expensive, since about 1/8 cup is enough in my LG Frontload washer. One of my friends was selling it, so I joined and became a distributor because I like this and many other products so much. Suggested Retail is $22.75 for 6.6 lb. Up to 100 loads. It lasts a very long time. The tri-zyme is also a good enzyme stain remover.

it IS a lot of money for a small bag of detergent...

I don´t remember it´s weight, but I remember to put the bag content in an empty detergent box that have exactly the same size of the smallest Tide box and there was space enough to put an empty P&G scoop and close the box.

It´s amazingly expensive if compared to any other brand and it´s not popular because we can't find it in supermarkets. only at Amway's website.

I wish I could send it to you. But I bet the shipping costs would be very high. I could even give you a better price. See what it would cost to become a distributor.
