A computer IT friend of mine just told me about this program. It might be handy for anyone out there that needs to move some files around that are too large to email.
It consists of a tiny little client program you can install on two (or more) computers to securely share folders or even entire drives across the Internet. The service uses BitTorrent protocols and methods and operates entirely peer to peer.
I've been using it for a few days now to synchronize a folder between work and home. I also have different folders shared with several friends for a "drag-n-drop" file share. As one buddy put it, its like Dropbox without the box. There are no file size limits unlike many services or email attachments. Its totally seamless and runs in the background. Edit a file in the share and as soon as its closed its synced to the peers!
Its multi-platform, there is a client for any OS you use. Easy to setup, just install the client, select the folder(s) to share, generate the "super secret" encryption hashtag and share that with the other client.
