Just went to restock my supply of Bluette liquid and noticed that it is now made by a company called Osmegen, Inc. from Allentown, PA. Up until now it was made by a company called Walco-Linck out of Valley Cottage, NY.

Smells similar to previous formula and appears to have the same viscosity, but we will see how it behaves. The website for the new company is www.naturalmagic.com.

I miss LaFrance!!! I used to use it with every single load of wash in my WO65 and my A606 washers and always had the whitest wash on the line.My neighbor,Ms.Elsie, always complemented my clean clothesline. One afternoon,I was hanging out my bed sheets and bedspread.Elsie yelled over and wanted to ask me how much bleach I used.I told her I used All and LaFrance bluing. She tried some that I gave her and also stopped using chlorine bleach. She had a 1960 Frigidaire Custom Imperial and replaced it in 1977 with her Mom's Frigidaire Jet Action solid tub model from around 1968.DeLuxe.It would spin fast but not Rapidry.
