Another thing about this not BOL dryer
This was the first year for GE's slanted control panels and all of the chrome and polished aluminum that had brightened and accented GE's control panels through the 50s and early 60s had disappeared, leaving a bleak sea of gray control panels. In the line up, this was the first model with the polished aluminum control panel as opposed to the less deluxe models with the gray control panels, whether enamel or paint.
