This was a well featured machine, 3 cycles, 2 speed motor, out of balance switch, porcelain top and lid and other than Whirlpool no company in the US sold a better portable at this time.

The Straight Vane Agitator is powerful but a Super-Roto-Swirl is violent when it comes down to washing and turn over in this tub.

This washer is a 16 gallon tub with a rated load capacity of 8 pounds.

 

Hi Sean your WP has an 18 gallon tub with a rated capacity of 9 pounds.

The Kenmore portable washer I have is a newer version of this washer since it has 3 suspension springs and spins around 800 rpm. That machine will be on my next project after my ‘63 Whirlpool and my Kenmore portable washer works but there’s a few adjustments I’ll need to do to it.
