is very ill, and am waiting for my friend Linn to take us to the vet.....he's been acting off for a while, but now looks as though he may have had a stroke.

I am beyond upset.

I don't know how old he is, I am his third placement. He's been with me for 3 years, since dear LJ had to be put down.

Mentioning Rainbow Bridge is ok. POSTING it in this thread is not ok. NOT.

He left,

He was gone before we got to the vet. I don't think (I sure as anything hope!) he didn't suffer.

I didn't know his actual age, but he was probably over 10.

Linn was wonderful. The drive from her BFs is usually an hour, she was here before that. The fee for individual cremation and return had gone up since LJ's, and was more than I had on me. She put it on her plastic, and I am going to repay her.

I'm going to wait, but not very long. I need fur on the hoof. I plan on being back in the cat business by or before my upcoming birthday.

Thanks--love

Oh, Lawrence!

I'm so very, very sorry to hear about your loss.

My thoughts and prayers are with both you and Boris.

So sorry to hear of your loss Lawrence. Our furry friends are the best friends anyone can have.

Dear Lawrence:

I am so sorry to hear about Boris; you've mentioned him often and with obvious love.

I hope that a new cat friend finds you soon, and that he helps to fill the space left in your heart.

Thank you all!

Thank you for the kind words here, in my gmail, on the phone....

Still rather numb.

Spent the evening with Linn and her brothers. It was just what I needed. Two of her three brothers are just as faboo as most of us here, and I was able to laugh and get laughs. I also made a potato salad, and it was quite a hit.

Rescue/shelter....more than likely. "Special Needs," perhaps.

Thank you all again.

Love,

Lawrence/Maytagbear

So so sorry for your loss

The same scenario happened to me on NY day('09). There is never a good time, but, what a way to kick off the New Year.

Just relish the thought that you gave Boris a good home and a good life.
