As per another thread, I have decided to offer this built-in retro machine for sale. My gran owned it from new, then I used it occasionally after that. It's in pretty good order having had drum bearings and a door seal fairly recently. It is not all mouldy and rusty either.
However it needs a new cold water solenoid and the outer door needs a bottom hinge fabricating. Otherwise the machine works very well, including the dryer.
It might also be a good source of spares - the motor and heating elements are a fortune to buy. I've not seen another up for sale, so would be a shame to skip it...
I'd love to see this vintage machine given a new lease of life, as I would like to have a go at a vintage front loader Hotpoint, even though it is not half as well built as this machine, with its stainless outer drum and cast iron weights!
