I ran across this picture on Flickr, and do not recognize the control panel layout. It appears to be a Whirlpool-made set. Kenmore? The front of the washer cabinet looks to be removable. A Calypso??

Yes, these were the new Control Panels of the last Model Years of the Calypso Washer and Dryer. What it looked like to me that Sears had decided to do is to make the Selection Control in the Middle look similar to the Hetty Control Selection area, as well as a slightly similar Cycle/Options Selection Button area.
As far as I know, even these Calypso Washers and Dryers are Discontinued from the Model Line-Up. Personally, I liked the original Sears Kenmore Calypso Control Panels, as well as the Control Panels on the Catalyst Washers and Dryers. The Catalyst Washers and Dryers also had a great Mechanical Control Panel that I liked as well.
I also really like the Pewter Gray Color shown in the Pix also. That is going to be my next Color selection if and when I ever look into any further new Washer and Dryer Sets, which most likely will be quite a while, considering the discontinuing of the normal Top-Loader Washers.
