Hi Leon,
Great find. Next time I'm in Brisbane, I would like to visit your collection.
Could you please scan the instruction manual and share it?
Thanks
Rod

Hi Rod,
You'd be most welcome! Just let me know when you'd be thinking: maybe you can see Nathan's collection as well while in town.
Will scan and attach.
Cheers
Leon

Hi Leon,
Awesome.
We had a WS machine when I was a teenager, can't remember the model, but it was TOL at the time with suds save. It had a grey control panel and numbers for the programs around the dial. Our neighbour threw it out, and we took it. Dad fixed it up. It was only a minor repair, and it served us for many years, until we got an AEG in 1987.

Hey Rod,
That would be a 401 - I now have one of those in the collection and looking to get the control panel re-done.
I'll scan the brochure for that one too.
Cheers

Wow, those are absolutely stunning! I absolutely love the rows of push buttons on the 401. It kind of looks like an 80’s Maytag crossed with a 70’s center dial model. I do have a few questions about the heaters. Did they have a thermal hold, or were they timed? Also, were they a static or flow through setup? Also, how many watts were they?
Thanks,
Thatwasherguy.

Agreed! The 401 was the TOL for this series. The heaters are static and thermal hold: 60 degrees celsius for hot and 40 for warm. They are 2400 watts
