Brett Somers dies at 83

Brett Somers died today in Westport,CT of colon and stomach cancer according to CNN. She was just fabulous to watch on Match Game wasn't she?

she died Saturday morning, September 15,2007. News of her death was released today.

Sorry to hear this. I too loved Miss Brett. She was a truly an old-school broad. Something you just don't see anymore.

Brett was wonderful as Rhoda Morgenstern's aunt on, "The Mary Tyler Moore Show", also. I talked with Charles Nelson Reilly about two years ago on a flight and we had a wonderful conversation about their days on, "The Match Game."

She was one of my favorite's.

Oh No...

Match Game was the greatest... the world will not be the same without her. I once heard her and CNR described as "Queen and Queen of Match Game". No other show has ever captured that magic, and a large portion of it was her, in my oppinion.

Mrs Jack Klugman.they never divorced..but, lived separate lives
