Silk fiber is very easy to clean because very little "sticks" to it.

Maybe we need some pics. here for strictly comparative purposes.

Choice 1: Hanes colored briefs. The thick cotton, not the "single ply" white ones.

Choice 2: Hanes trunks. Like a boxerbrief, but shorter legs, with no leg-opening-elastic.

Choice 3: Other assorted brands of trunks or boxerbriefs, pumas are lovely, 2xist, CK, whatever strikes my fancy while rifling through the racks at Marshals.

Tried the target brand, Merona, and was dissapointed. Used to have some nice Jockey stuff but it wore out and they don't make the ones I like anymore.

Or a jock.

Well it looks like the majority of the guys here like briefs, maybe because there are more older men here on automaticwasher.org I like briefs (especially tight white ones!) but when I go to the doctor I always wear boxers. For some reason I feel embarrass standing in front of him in briefs

but most older guys whom I know prefer boxers to tighty-whities.

Maybe that's just an American thing?

But yes, when I go to the doctor, I also wear plain white cotton boxers. Somehow one wants to be on one's very best behavior when they say: "Bend over and cough."

Jake, I agree with you - I just don't fit into tight briefs. There's a reason some parts of us are made to sway in the breeze and not be caught up tight.

But, heh - to each his own and whatever butters you muffin is good.

No, I wasn't aware of that. Due to the dry environment and dry skin I have I can only take a shower once per day and only in the summertime when it seems like my dry skin turns into oily skin. However, I do change the undies daily.

I do have two pair of Hanes boxer briefs. They aren't too bad, you get the support you need. Another thing I didn't like about boxers is that they tend to bunch up behind your legs. When you sit down you feel like you are sitting on a lump of fabric.

Mostly

briefs, but I do have some boxers. Mostly white, but some are black or grey.

For a change, I like a jock. And for "play," as well.

Nothing but BOXERS for me!

Jockey full cut boxers. Any color other than white. Gave up whitie tighties years ago as they always caused me to develope really bad jock itch. Have not had it since I went to boxers. Like the freedom of movement and they are cooler.

Anyone who rates the look I have seen your dogs give you in the stuff you've posted is not an ordinary guy.
And, yes, I did exaggerate a bit, but I do tend to have too sets of clothes a day and so do most guys I know.
 
Too shiny...

Apart from the reason mentioned earlier, silk is far too shiny for me. I am a big fan of boring clothing! After a long search for the most comfortable underwear I have finally settled on Sloggi Active Short.

I fear the day when they change their collection and the search starts all over again...

I wear:
-Stafford Performance mid rise briefs in dark colors fromJ.C.Penney
-Stafford Performance trunk briefs in dark colors
-calvin Klein knit boxers with button fly in black only

It depends on my mood for the day.
when not going to work I coordinate with my shirt since I only buy shirts in black, navy, burgandy, and red.
Hard to coordinate for work because I have never seen anyone make underwear in Misty Green or Ceil Blue which are the color scrubs I wear.
 
For me personally, I wear briefs, boxer briefs and sometimes bikinis. But on any other man, briefs or boxer briefs and maybe boxers if he has a nice ass. But nothing brings out a nice butt and package like briefs and boxer briefs.

I use to only wear white briefs. After breaking up with my EX 2yrs ago, i decided to add some color and some boxer briefs. I usally prefer Jockey and 2Xist but i do have a few Tommy's also. I never could wear boxers for all the reasons mentioned by others.

International Male and Under Gear are owned by the same company...I get there catalogs...just to window shop..lol

but its nice to know the fashion that's available to us

what we need is a leather gear catalog...or accessories for bears...and maybe toys...not too many out there...
 
Boxers for me all the way. JC Pennys is what I generally wear. I like the freedom it gives and they are cooler. Actually, nothing at all is better when I am home ( a robe is handy though) but boxers when I have to be out. Gary
 
i used to be a strict BOXERS ONLY guy but all of a sudden i got sick of everything going to one side, now i wear nothing but BRIEFS! i never realized how damn comfortable they are! i wear nothing but fruit of the loom and my FAVORITE, american apparel!!! i wear all colors and even white, depends on my mood.
