Without wanting to be indiscret, what on earth do people see in going commando? I once tried it, and another time I had to when I left my bag containing my underwear at home, and I did not like it at all.

Not only is their the potential for your jeans or whatever to get dirty but there is the danger of getting caught in the zip. Plus all the seams and tags on your clothing rubbing against you. Sorry to be so graphic.

Boxer briefs or Boxers

I used to be strictly boxers untill I tried boxer briefs after an injury.I usualy like Nautica or Hanes.Thay seem to give me support and freedom ;~)

believe it or not....I even wore my speedos to the beach and pool under my clothes....then all I had to do was a strip tease...lol...but acually very comfortable....and cool and dry...very nice on hot sweaty wet days...they all should be made with this material...designed this way for a reason

What I heard about

Is that, you know how when someone puts a can of "snuff" in their back jeans pocket it fades the denim to form a circle? Well I heard that when men don't wear underwear under jeans that it makes an "impression" on the jeans that some guys like to have.

I wouldn't like it, in fact, a few years ago there was a video by the band Switchfoot where they were underwater in their jeans. I asked on a VH1 message board if they wore speedos underneath their jeans and someone asked why. I gave the explanation but had to ask, are you sure you want to know?

We're just a little bit freer over here in Europe.

I think it's kinda neat when a guy is well enough, um, endowed to leave an impression in his jeans over time.

Here's a pic from the current non-foods circular in our local paper. After a day in the sun and water, those Jeans will definitely "know" which side he dresses on.

With few exceptions (the UK, mainly), most European universities only teach academic subjects and don't do much else.

We have a chess team, tho'. And a debate team.

And a rather decent orchestra, jazz ensemble and several choirs, including a gay-lesbian group.

No hunky students in Speedos.

Since we don't have hang-ups about nudity here, you will find lots of cute guys and chesty girls lying in the sun in their breaks between classes with little to nothing on.

Given the level of personal hygiene among students in general, I am, however, not entirely sure the passion for the un-cut many around here have would be quite as well serviced as they might hope...

I can appreciate this sentiment. Although, it's worth thinking that--on a practical level--baggy shorts makes for terrible swimwear--there's too much resistance. I once swam regularly, and I resisted buying a Speedo. (One issue: why spend $20 when you can buy 4 trunks on end the season clearance for the same money?) Eventually, though, I got a good deal on a Speedo-style suit, and thought "why not try it?" Within the first few yards, I realized that it was better--even for a relatively casual lap swimmer. I never looked back. Frankly, I hope I am never in a situation where I have swim wearing regular trunks again.

I'm not sure that I have the best body for a Speedo-style suit--although I didn't really care. It was practical for me. Anyone who doesn't like how I looked could look elsewhere.

Of course, for most people, "going swimming" means less real swimming than a lap or competitive swimmer does. Some people can "go swimming" a couple of times a week all summer long, and not actually swim even a season total of 50 yards. These people do not need a Speedo.
