I wasn't thinking
so much about the guys really swimming as about those folks who look more like I do - thank you, but no, a teeny-tiny neon-red bikini brief is not what I need to be wearing.
If you'd rather be blind than see a cute guy showing what he has in a speedo...than don't look. Plenty of women at the beach, too. Being gay, I'll stick with the guys. Yum!

but exeactly....if you don't like it don't look...no one's holding a gun to your back forcing you to look...funny though...the ones who are offended are the one's doing the most watching...you don't see me tuning into the "700" club and watching the whole show...."700" NO!..."007" BIG TIME YES!...you get double Oh's from James Bond...with out a doubt! but that's just my "treasured" opinion...

Yes, my everyday undies are briefs from COSTCO. No they are not the size of a tent nor do I have to buy them in packs of 900. Not exactly sexy but I save that stuff for later...
I once had Munsingwear Kangaroo Pouch undies. I could never figure out how they worked. I once stared myself down in the washroom at work finally figuring out that I would have to be a contortionist to get my plumbing to work. I got so frustrated once that I ripped the pouch open.
BTW, IML is in CHICAGO this week. Discuss...

I actually particularly like Munsingwear Kangaroo or Jockey Pouch--the Jockey's would be my 1st choice now...they've got a little spandex which keeps them in shape better than Munsingwear)...they were the first briefs that I could use (all other fly briefs were set up for right-handers...think about it!).

Some of us find things tend to, er, also be long enough to be accessible from the legs...I recall quite a scandal not that long ago about some poor American football star who inadvertently gave the world confirmation of his endowments while wearing boxers for a a photo shoot and someone on the set transferred a pic which wouldn't have upset anyone in Europe, but gave the ladies quite the vapors Stateside.
Anyway, the passions here on this simple topic! I prefer boxers and boxer-shorts, but wouldn't die or go commando just because the only thing to wear was briefs.

Hmm, I can think of worse names to be called.
Sex for conservative Americans (and many American gays, to my personal shock, are super right wing conservative - I never knew until I signed on here, truly I didn't) is something dirty and sinful and therefor something you do because of the kick of being dirty and sinful, not because it is a joyous gift to us.
A very unusual culture, truly - I wonder if this rejection of homosexual love and sex has anything to do with the propensity to torture?

The whole assumption that homosexuality was bad and gay marriage never existed is historically inaccurate. The Celts recognized gay marriage (handfasting, for instance was never an exclusively heterosexual ritual). Nor did the early Christians get much bothered about it.
I was in a gay support group which had several guys who were in their eighties and a few in their nineties back when I first came to Germany. The stories they told of Germany before the Nazis and Germany during that period - and later, up to the mid-1960's sounds an awful lot like the last 30 years in the US.
If Europe has learned tolerance, then at a very very high cost, indeed.
