Hi all, would any of our British or Irish friends be interested in some certain Burco mono tub impeller machine parts?
I used to have only one until the motor burned out. (and no, it is not he condenser, it is the motor coil).
So while making 1 out of 2 I will resell other body parts that I have no use for.

The Burco machine was sold here under the lable EBD, a Westfalian company having their own automatics. In Germany it was called CW250 "Waschfee" (Laundry Fairy), in the UK it was called Burco Power Washer (alongside the catering tea urns and washroom boilers).

Parts to go:
Full body and lid
drain hose
3 stand post feet (bakelite thingy with rubber foam knob underneath)
heater element
timer
impeller unit complete
(no filter & drain plate, this one has gone bad during the process)
220V cable and plug (Euro style, 2 prongs and a top/bottom ground contact)
motor defective (if anyone wants the sqirrel cage armature, but the coils are shorted)
condenser (to create the second phase AC)
clamps, screws and stuff...(the hardware mumbo-jumbo)

Any wanters? If not, they will go on ebay, but I thought before doing that, I would rather offer them here).

exactly this one, yes

EBD (Erwin Bonn, Duisburg) were selling them in the 70s and 80s.
There was a translated instructional leaflet with it, same colours, same cheesy 70s graphics about a happy housewife (pony tail and hair ribbon included, you can literally feel Simons & Garfunkel through the pics) draining the suds into a kitchen sink, so no difference from the British one - except the language.

Btw. dear friend, I still have these Hotpoint Swallow bits around here, meanwhile even the old and dearly missed upholstery nozzle popped up again, so you might be in for a complete tool kit *giggles here*

I have this Burco baby here, love it to pieces, unfortunately its twin brother/sister blew up during my stay in the NL. Parts to be had (want to keep only one).

oh, but wait!

The one you show us here seems to be "first generation" (swivelling side handles).
The one I have here is apparently second generation (steady non-moving hard plastic grips)
But as far as I am informed, this is just a minor brushing up of things, the basic design is the same, even the metal o-ring stopper in the drain pipe seems to have remained similar.
