Buying a Car on Ebay

Ok
I trade cars often and i made the mistake of buying a car... I now want a truck.. Long story short, i bought a 1999 Ford F150 V8 on ebay for a steal.. clean car fax, looks to be very nice and right up my alley... But am i making a mistake?? Been all over here in the valley and no one has a truck i like for any resonable price...

Book value is about $7,000...

My car (a 2005 Ford Focus SE with 63K) is worth about the same... Needs a front bumper though (I can not see out of a damn car...

The seller has a great feedback rating so I think you bought a good truck. Just remember, any vehicle of that age with that mileage may develop a problem soon, the seller may not know about it.

I have bought three cars on ebay with no problems.

I've bought a car on Ebay and it was really a good car, exactly like the seller said it was. My neighbors across the street recently bought a 2006 Cadillac CTS for $12K on Ebay. It has 40K miles on it and looks and drives like new.

For those buying cars on Ebay, Bullseye Auto Transport is a wonderful company. I have used them as well as several others I know. They are VERY service oriented. The truck driver called me everyday with a status of where he was and what his expected arrival time was going to be. The main contact is a lady named "Jody", she's a real hoot, but knows this business inside and out! Their enclosed carriers are so clean inside you could eat off of the hardwood floors inside of them.
I highly recommend them! And their pricing is very competitive.

Thanks.. I still have a few worries, but judging from consumer reports ratings of F-150's its bound to be better than my Focus..
The dodge dealer came through on the truck i really wanted, so now im in a bit of a pickle... We will see what happens tommorw if Carmax will give me what i need for my truck

Any one want a REALLY nice 2005 Ford Focus SE with alloy wheels, cruise/tilt, cd/mp3 player, keyless entry, automatic, 63K miles.. New tires and brakes.. Just serviced by Ford...$5,200... Needs a front bumper skin... I can't drive a car too well.. USed to bigger cars
