When I visited my grandparents back in '86 they had this dryer in their basement. Originally they had the matching washer too, but had replaced it with a GE washer in the mid to late 70's. I would have love to have gotten the set after they passed, but since the washer was already gone, why bother? I was a little surprised they had gotten rid of it because they still had an old Thor semi automatic washer all covered up in quilts which I did manage to get. I guess since they had bought a new machine they decided to let the company they bought it from take the old one out when it quit working. Since most of mine are gone now, guess it's pointless to wish I had gotten it.

If I was closer, I'd be taking a run at that Whirlpool Imperial dishwasher.  I always loved that style and bitterly regret not making more of an effort to save a 1967 Inglis 'Centennial' dishwasher that looked a lot like this one... Sigh...
