You've been highly recommended for locating a part I need. I'm looking for the control/display panel for my KUDA22st5 dishwasher. The p/n is 4171266.

Thank you!!!

I noticed in your other thread you said that you had been pressing on the display and it would sometimes work. I suppose the assumption is that it no longer responds to that treatment? Did the display gradually get dim or did it work normally when it did (until it didn't any more)?

The first thing I'd look at is all the solder joints that attach the display leads to the board. If you have the ability (or know someone that does) it might pay to simply reflow the solder on all the joints. Being that your display seemed to work when it was physically disturbed makes me think intermittant connection. This machine may have come about the time they removed the lead from solder and there were some teething pains making that adaptation.

Might be worth a shot as finding a replacement board may be unlikely or expensive.

Thank you for the suggestion kb0nes. The display was gradually getting dimmer but if I tapped it, it would work for about 30 seconds. Unfortunately it's past the point of no return as the display has been ruined by a leak. I broke a part of the tube used to evacuate it and place it under a vacuum. You're probably right that finding a replacement board may be unlikely....very sad, because the dishwasher still works excellent and is in really good condition.

Display and computer board for a KUDA22 DW, I will look and see if there is one of these around, we might have a used one.

Back when these DWs were new there were not many of this model sold and they also had a very high failure rate with this panel, we junked a lot of DWs within the first 10 years because this control was VERY expensive even 15 years ago.

A few of these DWs we converted to electro-mechaneal controls by robbing a complete control panel and wiring harness from an otherwise tired KA DW as Richard suggested.

I found A board for a KUDS22 Pt# 4171349, that apparently has a bad display also, and it is not interchangeable anyway.

This might be a hard part to find, as mentioned before they were not the popular in the first place nor that reliable, although if you can find a used one you may be able to send it out for rebuilding at a company like Corecentrics.

Rebuilding if possible could cost $200.

Hi John,

Thank you for checking, I really appreciate your help.
I will keep looking and hopefully something will turn up.
Have a great day.

I found this board online and the seller says that it's compatible with the KUDA22...even though it's from a KUDA23 which has a different motor, sensors and door switch. It looks similar, but compatible??
