Ok..SudsDudeShane will now be known as SudsShane. I got tired of being teased by my friends who post on this site.
I guess 38 is a bit too old for using the word "dude" anyways.
I'm just bummed that its showing me as a brand new member when I have been posting on this site since June of 06..Wonder if Robert could change that??? =)

Hey I am 38 too!! 1968 is such a good year!!! I like to use the word Dude.... Grad 86.....all about the hair stylethen ....but in the appliance world..plastics starting to be used more frequently in appliances (the plastic tub liners introduced for dishwashers), introduction to induction cooking (GE), European solid cast iron burners started to be used more in North America, Whirlpool introduced the direct drive clothes washer, Maytag stackers, Maytag new transmission, Maytag redesign their dishwashers - no more belt drives and electronics being used more often as a way to control appliances (Whirlpool System 2000 Fridge!).

For you Shane, no problem.

I will extremely busy at work for the next two months so you guys wont see a lot of me around here, but I will check in when I can.

Ahhh, 38, what a great age. You guys are at your prime! Experienced and grounded, know what you want and what you like, and are comfortable with yourselves, I'll bet. I generally don't consider men under 35 for . . . er . . . mutual entertainment, but have been known to make an exception here and there. Just no substitute for experience IMHO.

Well, here in LA you're a "dude" even if you're a girl! I've always been "dude" to my two oldest nephews (24 and 22) as well.

Thanks for the kind words! Yes,38 has been great so far..I am just thankful I have another nine months before I reach 39 lol!

Dude, we are not in California anymore............

~During my visits to the USA I didn't hear the word 'dude' very often.

Well at least in in New York City you'd most likely hear "Yo, MF, what up?

IIRC 'dude' sounds like the Arabic word for "worm" or some such thing. Our troups were informed to cut it our mighty quick when they go over there.
