These look homemade. My brother-in-law is blind and has a label maker for applications like this, microwave oven, stove, washer/dryer, etc. It looks very similar but little larger than a Dymo label maker, his used standard 3/8" Dymo tape refills - in any color you choose ;-) Whirlpool used to provide an overlay for some models in their line, I think GE did as well. Since we've switched appliances a number of times in their house, my sister usually just instructs him on the basics and marks a couple of buttons or dial positions for him to use as a reference point. They have a '02 Kenmore Catalyst washer and the only buttons she marked for him is the favorite cycle and start buttons. In case you're curious, the favorite cycle is set for normal wash cycle, cold wash & rinse. She learned the hard way letting the "blind guy" sort and wash clothes so that is the safest settings for his use!
